The music in it included Hot Together by the Pointer Sisters, Everybody Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung, Child Support by Zenglen, and Talkin' to Myself Again by Tammy Wynette. In the same period the release moved from 2025 to May 26, 2026.
Rockstar said the trailer's gameplay and cutscenes were captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5. It came with about 70 new screenshots of the characters and places of Leonida.
The Hollywood Reporter reported more than 475 million views across platforms in the first day. The character profiles published that day are the ones still on Rockstar's Only in Leonida page.
