GTA 6 Map
Rockstar has not released an official map of Leonida yet. This is our own schematic sketch of the six regions it has named, based on Rockstar’s descriptions and clearly marked where a position is an estimate. It is not to scale.
The six regions of Leonida
Rockstar calls Leonida “the Goodtime State” and splits it into six regions. Only two come with a direction in the official text: Ambrosia sits “in the heart of Leonida,” and Mount Kalaga National Park lies “up against the state’s northern border.” The other positions follow guides and community maps, and the real-world models they share: Miami for Vice City, the Florida Keys for the Leonida Keys, and the Everglades for Grassrivers.

Named places inside Vice City
Rockstar’s Vice City text names Ocean Beach, Little Cuba, the Tisha-Wocka flea market, and VC Port, “the cruise ship capital of the world.” Edition texts add Stockyard, Southside, Washington Beach, Watson Bay, Gambit Bay, and Shore Drive. The Extended Look showed the Effluvia rooftop bar, Megamundo Tower, and Boobie Ike’s Jack of Hearts. Rockstar has not placed any of them on a map, so they are not drawn here.
How big is the GTA 6 map?
Rockstar has not given an official size. According to The New York Times, Rockstar says Vice City alone is about twice the size of Los Santos, and the whole world is about three times the playable area of Red Dead Redemption 2. Community estimates put the land area at roughly 1.7 to 3 times that of GTA V, but those are measured from trailers and leaked footage and keep changing between versions. The real answer comes on November 19, 2026.
What this map leaves out
County names, road layouts, and exact distances circulate online, mostly from leaks and fan reconstructions. Rockstar has not confirmed them, so they are not on this map. Liberty City is not part of Leonida: in VI it is where Lucia’s family came from.
Detailed fan maps
If you want street-level detail, the GTA VI mapping community has built far more detailed reconstructions. They are fan work, partly based on leaked material, and not official:
