In November 2025 the release moved again, this time to November 19, 2026. Rockstar named extra polish as the reason. This is the date this countdown is set to.
IGN reported the delay on November 6, 2025. Coverage of Rockstar's statement focused on extra polishing time. It was the second delay: in May 2025 the release had already moved from 2025 to May 26, 2026.
In June 2026, the cover art reveal locked in the November 19 date. Since then Rockstar has kept to it, with preload set for November 12.
