Vice City is once again a large coastal city, and the center of Grand Theft Auto VI. The skyline, the manufactured glamour, and the crime underneath are the setting for Jason and Lucia.
Rockstar had a stylist from Miami help build the city's fashion. The city runs on appearance: tourists, celebrities, and a constant stream of images. Stockyard, named in the edition description and tied to street art, sits in that urban layer.
Named neighborhoods that appear in official edition texts include Shore Drive, Washington Beach, Watson Bay, Gambit Bay, and Southside.
Rockstar's region text calls it 'the sun and fun capital of America': a long way from the '80s, but still built on excess. The districts it names include Ocean Beach, Little Cuba, the Tisha-Wocka flea market, and VC Port, billed as 'the cruise ship capital of the world.'
The Extended Look added more landmarks: the Effluvia rooftop bar, Megamundo Tower, Boobie Ike's Jack of Hearts, and the Only Raw Records studio. According to The New York Times, Rockstar says Vice City alone is about twice the size of Los Santos from GTA V.
